For the fourth year in a row, The Coca-Cola Company partnered with IOP and BuzzWord to create their integrated 2021 Business & ESG Report, a Highlights PDF and the topic specific World Without Waste Report. Together we crafted a suite that advances the company’s ESG priorities and celebrates progress against goals while establishing new ones for the future.
In the integrated ESG & Business report, we enlarged the format to digital-friendly proportions, simplified infographics for maximum impact and created layouts with clear scannable content to emphasize key takeaways. Alongside the GRI, TCFD, SDGs, and UN Global Compact reporting frameworks, we included SASB further broadening and outlining the company’s short- and long-term risks and opportunities. The ever popular Data Appendix—key financial & sustainability metrics alongside multi-year performance data on the company’s key material topics—also returned.
The 2021 World Without Waste Report once again aims to create systemic change through a circular economy for the company’s packaging alongside their bottling partners. This strategy has signaled a renewed focus on their entire packaging lifecycle—from how bottles and cans are designed and produced to how they’re recycled and repurposed—through a focus on three fundamental areas: design, collect and partner.
To further communications objectives we also created a highlight document, making a digestible version of all the key ESG information.
