The LYCRA Company, a global leader in developing sustainable and innovative fiber and technology solutions, partnered once again with Ideas On Purpose to write and design the Planet Agenda Update, the sustainability review the company publishes annually. This second effort reports progress on established goals, maps to the UN SDGs, and ties sustainability to the growth of the business.
IOP crafted the theme Together, we go further, reflecting LYCRA’s position as a leading ingredient brand and that sustainability is a shared responsibility. There is a rich focus on innovation to reduce environmental impact and on the supply chain, an ongoing priority for LYCRA that reinforces the focus on each participant doing their part. We designed a highly visual approach, communicating the content through paired quotes, infographics, storytelling, callouts and meaningful data, resulting in a digestible experience for the reader. Dynamic visuals support the content, utilizing LYCRA’s expansive photo library as well as original photography. And this year we shifted the report into a digital-first format, incorporating navigation and wayfinding throughout the interactive PDF.
Unique elements in this report include a glossary of terms to help employees and other stakeholders with industry and sustainability jargon, as well as a Global Sustainability Scorecard that establishes a format for ongoing reporting of progress against goals.
