Hubbell launched its IOP-designed 2017 print and digital annual report and financial highlights! For the homepage’s digital design, we created a smooth, user-friendly scroll to beautifully reflect this year’s theme, “Experience Our Evolution” — a nod to Hubbell’s focus on building upon past foundations for present and future innovations.

Stanley Black & Decker launched the IOP-designed and developed 2017 Year In Review suite. We again created a robust, video-enhanced site built on the theme “Purpose Driven”. The suite of materials is anchored by the digital Year in Review, with an annual and responsibility report included.
Bioethics International launched a new IOP-designed and developed website showcasing the Good Pharma Scorecard, a way to rate and rank pharma companies on their ethics. They seek to advance patient and global health, by ensuring pharma innovates responsibly and puts patients first.

The Foundation, funded by Sam’s estate, will further Sam’s legacy by making grants that seek to improve the lives of people and animals. Stanley Black & Decker launched a new corporate website showcasing the company’s purpose and timed to their investor day. Targeted for an audience of media, investors, potential employees and other key stakeholders, the site is a highly visual take on the digital industrial company. Ideas On Purpose was tapped to lead the visual design and content creation for the site. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team we crafted a dynamic, flexible system to support the company in a time of rapid growth. Be sure to take a look.
Performance in Motion is a goal-driven Physical Therapy and Performance Training company based in Chicago. They focus on elite and recreational athletes, helping them feel, move, and perform at their best. Working as creative and strategic partners, we oversaw the visual brand and website design.

The winners of the 16th Annual International iNOVA Awards Competition honoring excellence in corporate websites were announced today. IOP designed EcoSpaces Education took the top honor—Best in Show. The judges praised the fresh, clean look. They really enjoyed the site’s design and great photography. “User friendly and fun!”
The site was part of our Brand New Brand initiative and was created with contributions from Igicom as well as photographer Peter Ross. Read about the EcoSpaces rebranding and the Brand New Brand process here.
We are excited to announce the next cycle of Brand New Brand, our pro bono redesign initiative. We’re looking for a small, established nonprofit — at least five years old — in need of rebranding to take the organization to the next level. The winning entry will receive a focused brand redesign that may include an identity, a website and other communications. All the work created by IOP and our partners is free of charge. Spread the word, applications are due March 1st, 2017.
Our clients did well in the 2016 iNova awards, recognizing the best in web design. United Technologies won two Golds for best website design in both the Diversified Industrial Company and Manufacturing categories. EcoSpaces Education won Gold for the best Nonprofit website design.
Nielsen’s 2015 Digital Annual Report was featured in the December 2016 issue of Page Magazine. This German-language publication focuses on the intersection of design, code and business. They wrote about the rise of the online report, and highlighted Nielsen’s responsive approach, particularly phone accessibility.
United Technologies IOP-led site redesign was honored in the 2016 WebAwards, recognizing the best in website design and development. The site was awarded Outstanding Achievement. We are proud to have lead the team, working in collaboration with DataArt and AMS. Since 1997, the Web Marketing Association’s annual WebAward Competition has been setting the standard of excellence for Website development. Independent expert judges from around the world review sites in 96 industries.
Three IOP projects were recognized by Graphis, a premier international design publication. The juried Annual Report competition looked at work from the past two years. Memorial Sloan Kettering and NYU Langone won Gold, and Pfizer won silver. We are honored to be in great company, and to be included in a piece of graphic design history.
