A new law firm focusing on patent litigation at the intersection of science, technology and the law—with a special focus on social justice—came to IOP for branding before launch. The partners have a long history and created their own firm on a foundation of expertise and experience. As we embarked on the design, we turned to abstract science imagery and embraced a palette of teals, with pops of yellow, to project a modern science-adjacent energy. The brand and website position the firm for success, differentiating it from peers, highlighting the partners and their long history as well as their commitment to social justice.

Once the visual identity and an interim site were established in mere weeks, we continued to refine and established the brand foundation. We worked with the firm through launch on a suite of materials to support their immediate ramp up. We continue to host and evolve their website and materials in their dynamic initial year.

The site was recognized for excellence in the 60th annual Graphic Design USA’s Digital Design Awards.
