IOP clients earn top honors in 2016 Vision Awards

IOP clients earn top honors at the 2016 Vision Awards, including 9 of the 65 top Annual Reports in the Americas, with 6 Reports honored as the best worldwide. Sponsored by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), the awards honor the best in corporate reports—in print and online—from around the world. IOP digital and print reports for Nielsen, Stanley Black & Decker, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Navigators Group, and United Technologies all won top honors.

Sam Simon Charitable Giving Foundation launches

Today the Sam Simon Charitable Giving Foundation launched its website and new brand. The Foundation, funded by Sam’s estate, will further Sam’s legacy by making grants that seek to improve the lives of people and animals. IOP was thrilled to partner with the team on the visual branding and website as they prepared to publicly launch the Foundation. IOP will continue to support the Foundation in their branding and web needs.

Stanley Black & Decker launches new corporate website

Stanley Black & Decker launched a new corporate website showcasing the company’s purpose and timed to their investor day. Targeted for an audience of media, investors, potential employees and other key stakeholders, the site is a highly visual take on the digital industrial company. Ideas On Purpose was tapped to lead the visual design and content creation for the site. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team we crafted a dynamic, flexible system to support the company in a time of rapid growth. Be sure to take a look.

Michelle Marks honored with 2017 Brava Award

Our own Michelle Marks was honored as a 2017 recipient of a New York Brava Award, given by SmartCEO magazine. The Brava Awards program celebrates high-impact female business leaders. Winners combine their irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for giving back to the community, and are exemplary leaders of both their companies and their communities. Each year, an independent committee of local business leaders selects winners based on company growth, community impact and mentoring.

EcoSpaces Education takes Best of Show

The winners of the 16th Annual International iNOVA Awards Competition honoring excellence in corporate websites were announced today. IOP-designed EcoSpaces Education took the top honor—Best in Show. The judges praised the fresh, clean look. They really enjoyed the site’s design and great photography. “User friendly and fun!”

Brand New Brand 2017: pro bono redesign initiative

November 17, 2016

We are excited to announce the next cycle of Brand New Brand, our pro bono redesign initiative. We’re looking for a small, established nonprofit — at least five years old — in need of rebranding to take the organization to the next level. The winning entry will receive a focused brand redesign that may include an identity, a website and other communications. All the work created by IOP and our partners is free of charge. Spread the word, applications are due March 1st, 2017.

IOP wins website design awards for clients

United Technologies won two Golds for best website design in both the Diversified Industrial Company and Manufacturing categories. EcoSpaces Education won Gold for the best Nonprofit website design.
