Three IOP clients win at the 2026 Anthem Awards

We are thrilled to share that three IOP clients have been recognized at the 6th Annual Anthem Awards. Hilton was selected as a Gold Winner for its 2025 Travel with Purpose report, while Wintrust and Oshkosh Corporation were both selected as Silver Winners. All three were recognized in the Trend, Insights or Impact Report category within Sustainability, Environment & Climate.

This year the Anthem Awards received more than 2,500 entries from 43 countries. Being recognized among them is a real achievement.

Presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, the Anthem Awards celebrate purpose- and mission-driven work from people, companies, and organizations around the world.

Michelle M. Marks to speak at 2026 Sustainable Business Council Conference

At the 19th Annual Sustainable Business Council Conference on November 17-18 in Madison, Wisconsin Michelle will lead a workshop titled: Communicate Sustainability to the People Who Matter. The focus is to help communicators (and those tasked with communicating sustainability topics) to see what they have, what’s missing, and what to do first.

This year’s conference will bring together sustainability and business leaders to share practical strategies, real-world examples, and ideas that create lasting impact.

Michelle M. Marks to speak at North Carolina Climate Week

Join our free virtual session “AI in Sustainability: Control and Communicate” during this year’s Climate Action Series.

This session is for sustainability and communications teams figuring out where AI fits into their work. You’ll leave with a practical starting point for AI governance, covering how to think about tool selection, data handling, and the emissions and risk tied to everyday AI use. From there, the conversation turns outward: how to avoid greenhushing, and how to make sure your sustainability story holds up as AI becomes how more people find and evaluate companies. The speakers include: Ideas On Purpose‘s very own co-founder Michelle M. IOP Clients Win Vision Awards

We are pleased to share that five IOP clients have been recognized with Platinum awards by the League of American Communications Professionals 2025 Vision Awards for their annual and sustainability reports. Clients include Boston Properties, Dominion Energy, Wintrust, Stanley Black & Decker, and Simon Property Group. All five earned spots in the Top 100 Reports Worldwide and Top 20 American Reports.

Michelle M. Marks Recognized in 2026 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards

Michelle M. Marks, Managing Partner and Founder of IOP, has been recognized by Enterprising Women Magazine in the 2026 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards, an annual tribute to the world’s top women entrepreneurs. The Award is widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners. To win, nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship and stand out as leaders in their communities. This once-in-a-lifetime honor will be conferred at the 24th annual awards event and conference in March 2026.

Norwegian Cruise Lines Shortlisted for Best Sustainability Reporting

We’re proud to share Norwegian Cruise Lines’ 2024 Sail & Sustain Report has been shortlisted for Best Sustainability Reporting (small- to mid-cap) at IR Impact’s 2026 Awards, a category recognizing reports that are raising the bar to provide substance, detail, and performance data. The IR Awards serve as a vital benchmark for companies doing the best in investor relations in the US. Winners will be announced in March.

Hilton wins at 2025 Good Design Awards

The 2025 Good Design Awards recognized Hilton’s 2023 Travel With Purpose Report in the Graphic Design category. Out of a record number of global submissions, only 14 works received recognition in this prestigious category. IOP is honored to have our work included.

Founded in Chicago in 1950 by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, the Good Design Awards is one of the world’s oldest and most respected programs for design excellence. This year, the Museum received an unprecedented number of entries from leading manufacturers and design firms across more than 55 countries, showcasing the highest standards of industrial and graphic design worldwide.

IOP Joins Advisory Committee to plan North Carolina Climate Week 2026
