Office Manager & Bookkeeper
Maria comes to IOP with a solid background in finance, operations, and office management. Most recently, she worked as an Accounting Coordinator at a NYC based contracting firm, handling everything from subcontractor invoices and project billing to job cost tracking and vendor management. Before that, she spent two years at an investment bank as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where she dug into financial reporting, streamlined AP processes, and kept things running smoothly behind the scenes.
She’s also worn a lot of hats over the years, from managing a small office and bookkeeping for a construction company to interning in a congressional campaign. Across every role, Maria’s been the go-to person for keeping things organized, on time, and running efficiently.
Outside of work, she lives in Jersey City with her husband and their guinea pig Bimini. She loves reading, museums and spending as much time as she can outside. Maria dreams of one day retiring to a cozy little farm filled with rescued animals, flowers and sunshine.
